BUG - macOS - Sound triggered when hitting space bar (play/stop)

Each time I hit the space bar to play/stop the video while editing, it triggers a system sound (on macOS)

I'd really want this to be fixed as quickly as possible because it is super annoying! For videos without audio, I can just mute my audio output for now, but for videos that have audio, it's unbearable, really.

Someone was referring to it and created a post, but the title was more suggesting an feature request rather than a bug notice, and it was from May 2024:
